Robust-Aire systems pump compressed air from a shore-mounted compressor through self-weighted lines to a diffuser on the pond, lake or tank bottom. The diffuser then continuously releases micro-bubbles that rise to the surface carrying large volumes of water. This induces oxygen-transfer as well as beneficial water movement and mixing.

At 15ft. of depth, 2 diffusers will move 6300 gallons per minute (378,000 gallons per hour!) using 2.5 amps. That is only about .72 a day at $0.10 KW hour!

All Robust-Aire™ diffused aeration systems are available with an optional remote manifold allowing the compressor to be installed up to a mile away from the water's edge.

We strongly encourage you to call about bottom aeration so we can determine which size is best for you. We have only included single and double diffuser systems for ponds up to an acre. But in all there are 12 different systems available if your pond or lake is considerably larger than an acre. We have only included single diffuser and dual diffuser systems here. A lot depends on average depth, layout of the pond, etc. In cooperation with Kasco, we look at your pond or lake on Google Earth and get a plan laid out for you so you can make the best choice.

Kasco Robustaire Diffuser Systems are available with small-cabinet, medium-size cabinet, or large-cabinet sizes. Small-cabinet sizes (prices shown here) are available with 1, 2, or 3 diffusers and 1/4-1/2 HP compressors. Medium-cabinet for mid-size ponds and lakes are available with 4, 5, or 6 diffusers and two 1/2 HP compressors. For large recreational or industrial lakes large-cabinet models are available with7-12 diffusers and use three or four 1/2HP compressors.
