We get many requests for solar pond fountains and aerators. Yes, we do offer them. No, they are not cheap. Kasco solar pond fountains and aerators are the most powerful on the market and may be used in anything from farm ponds to industrial environments. They are available in solar only or solar supplemented by grid power. They use an all-in-one inverter and Variable Frequency Drive with maximum power point tracking to utilize the most solar power available.

Available in 1/2 to 2HP options. Now also available for Robust-Aire bottom diffusers.

Pros:

Kasco engineers have developed state-of-the-art solar options for decorative fountains with multiple nozzle patterns, aerating fountains with classic V-shape pattern, surface aerators, and now also solar for compressor-driven bottom aerators. You no longer have to run hundreds of feet of underground cable to a distant pond. This technology is easy to use and more powerful than anything on the market and is designed for use in applications spanning from farm ponds to harsh industrial environments. These patented controllers are available in solar only and solar + power grid blender options. They are an all-in-one inverter and Variable Frequency Drive with maximum power point tracking designed to utilize the most solar power available.

Unless you use the power grid blender option, the amount of flow and aeration will depend on available sunlight.

Solar Only Option

Solar only systems use solar energy to maximize operation during daylight hours. In partial sunlight (morning and afternoon), the system will run at reduced speed extending the daily run time. These packages include the PicoCell™ 3500 Control Panel.

Blender Controller Option

These systems utilize solar power during the day and grid power at night to provide 24/7 performance. These packages include the PicoBlender™ 2500 Control Panel.
