This little pump is very powerful for it's size and weight. We still receive raving comments from friends and neighbors after 11 years. It is in a 30-50 foot wide, slow moving creek that runs behind our neighborhood back yards. A neighbor 3 houses away and about 500 - 600 feet away just mentioned to me how much they like our fountain. I have a neighbor next to me on the opposite side that has asked me if I was going to turn it on, when I had forgotten to. It's a popular attraction for my neighbors and ourselves. The motor is quite and very smooth running. I know a little about pumps and motors and this is a very good one. I am left impressed.
